Volunteers Needed

The Religious Education programs are in need of adult volunteers for various positions. We need assistance with Sunday School classes and youth groups. There are a variety of skills and time commitments needed. Even if you only have a couple of hours a month to give it would truly be welcomed. The youth of our parish have so much to give, but we need adults to supervise activities and instruct and guide in the classroom. Helping to guide young people as they seek a fuller relationship with Jesus Christ can be an unbelievably fulfilling way to spend your time. If you feel called to assist in any of these ministries of the church please call the Religious Education office at 585-1858.

Web Site Changes

The Parish Web site is undergoing some changes. We were forced to move the site to a different Web server. The old calendar no longer works. The remaining information on the site is the same, but perhaps a bit harder to find. Try using Search.

Fire at the Beach

The Diocese of Charleston invites you to attend Fire at the Beach—Eucharist: Called, Nourished, Sent on September 18, 19, and 20 at Hilton Head, S.C. Fire at the Beach is a conference focusing on faith, which the Diocese of Charleston sponsors every two years. The conference is designed for all Catholic adults who wish to grow in their faith, but it also offers some special features for catechists, youth ministers, parish and Catholic school staff, and volunteers who keep devotional life and outreach alive and well in our parishes and schools. Speaker and workshop information, registration, and hotel connections are posted at www.fireatthebeach.org .
