The curriculum is based on …
- Daily religion instruction. Participation in Mass, prayer services, and service projects.
- Open Court phonics-based reading program in K-5 through 2nd grade. Literature-based reading program in 3rd through 8th grades.
- Language arts with an emphasis on grammar and writing/communication skills.
- Math instruction includes drill, computation, and application. Eighth-grade students are able to earn high-school credit for Algebra I.
- Social studies instruction encourages students to learn about the past and about other cultures in order to encourage good citizenship and respectful tolerance.
- Science classes focus on the world around us. Students in 5th through 8th grades work in the science lab and cover life, earth, and physical science curricula.
Students in grades K-4 through 8 attend weekly classes in Art, Computer, Music, Library, Physical Education, and Spanish. Students in 7th and 8th grades have Spanish class daily. Eighth grade students are able to earn high-school credit for Spanish I.
